Refresh Your Ministry Retreat

Gather with Baptist State Convention of Michigan pastors and wives for an overnight retreat with a purpose!
- Relaxing accommodation
- Refreshing fellowship
- Resourceful speaker
Serving in the local church is one of the greatest privileges—and one of the greatest pressures—of the Christian life. Pastors and their wives carry unique burdens, often pouring themselves out for the good of others while having few opportunities to rest, reconnect, and be poured into themselves. This Refresh Retreat is designed to offer a sacred pause: a time to breathe deeply, lean into God’s grace, and rediscover joy in life and ministry.
Through encouraging teaching, meaningful conversations, and intentional time together, couples will be refreshed spiritually, strengthened relationally, and renewed for the work God has called them to. Sessions will focus on cultivating healthy rhythms and remaining rooted in God’s Word amid the demands of ministry. Pastors and wives will leave encouraged, equipped, and reminded that they are not alone—God is faithful, and their BSCM family stands with them.
We’re excited to welcome Brian Croft as our Keynote Speaker! Brian is the former Senior Pastor of Auburndale Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and is the Founder/Executive Director of Practical Shepherding, Inc! He is also Senior Fellow for the Mathena Center for Church Revitalization and an Adjunct Professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the husband of Cara and father of four children, son, Samuel and daughters, Abby, Isabelle, and Claire. He has served in pastoral ministry for thirty years, spending seventeen of those years as Senior Pastor of Auburndale Baptist Church. He has written or contributed to over twenty-five books to help serve pastors and church leaders on the practicalities of pastoral ministry.
Come enjoy a gracious space to rest, reconnect, and be renewed for another season of fruitful ministry in the local church!
